Thrillers I Want For Christmas
A peek into my Christmas wish list
Hey, it’s Diego.
The last two weeks, I’ve spent more time with Christmas shopping than reading. Which got me thinking about the books I’d like to read over the holidays.
So, here is my Christmas wish list.

Thrillers I Want For Christmas
On A Quiet Street by Seraphina Nova Glass
On A Quiet Street by Seraphina Nova Glass follows Cora who is convinced her husband is cheating on her and she’s determined to catch him in the act. She asks Paige, who recently lost her son to a hit-and-run, to help her. And because Paige is in a bad place right now grieving with loss, she agrees. So they hatch a plan and execute it in the exclusive community on the Oregon coast they live in, which is the perfect mix of luxury and natural beauty.
Famous Last Words by Gillian McAllister
In Famous Last Words by Gillian McAllister Camilla’s life is turned up-side-down when her husband - doting father, eternal optimist - becomes the gunman in a hostage situation in downtown London. A cryptic note left by her husband is all she has to go on when she comes face-to-face with her new reality.
The Overnight Guest by Heather Gudenkauf
In The Overnight Guest by Heather Gudenkauf true crime writer Wylie Lark retreated to write her new book to an isolated farmhouse where decades earlier two people were murdered and a girl went missing. As the storm worsens, Wylie finds herself trapped inside the house. But then she discovers a small child in the snow just outside.
The Maid's Diary by Loreth Anne White
In The Maid's Diary by Loreth Anne White we follow homicide cop Mallory as she is called to a scene at a luxury waterfront home where she’s confronted with evidence of a violent attack so bloody it’s improbable the victim is alive. But there’s no body. The homeowners are gone. And their maid is missing.
This Week’s Finds
The Revenge Club series adaptation from The Othello Club by J.D. Pennington arrived 12 December to Paramout+. Seems the TV series was developed alongside the book as it hit shelves a month ago.
A new release this week caught my eye, if only because of the name: Everyone in the Group Chat Dies by L. M. Chilton. It’s a social-media-linked mystery involving a ’90s serial killer, disappearance, and a deadly text thread. I may check it out!
That’s all for this week. See you next time.
